City Beach-Hopping

to a few beaches, spending an hour or two at each.

As a general, the further north you go ,the better the beaches get. The best way to experience Salvador`s beaches is to start off with the ones close to Barra, and hop over to the next one north, thus having an always improved experience.

5 Beer and Acaraje at Itapoan

Considered by most Brazilian the most relaxing place in the country (it`s not), due to a famous bossanova song that talks about spending an afternoon there. Kind of like Hotel California. Do make sure to try the world`s best Acaraje: Cira`s. Ask anyone in Salvador and they know.
