Relax: City Beach-Hopping
You’ve just arrived and you want to unwind before expliring Salvador’s culture. Hop on a cab and head to a few beaches, spending an hour or two at each. Estimate Total Time (T): 8h Estimated Total Cost (C): R$ 130 Best on: Sunny Weekday

As a general, the further north you go ,the better the beaches get. The best way to experience Salvador`s beaches is to start off with the ones close to Barra, and hop over to the next one north, thus having an always improved experience.

1) Juice at Sucos 24hr
Even if you had breakfast, a tropical fruit juice will help get your nutrients to a healthy level, plus they taste great

2) Jaguaribe Beach
A great beach any day of the week.

3) Piata
Surfer beach

4) Lunch at Flamengo Beach
Seafood at any of the beach kiosks usually involve lobsters, shrimp, crab, rice, salad and other side dishes, all for a measly sum of R$60 or less, where 4 can eat.

5) Beer and Acaraje at Itapoan
Considered by most Brazilian the most relaxing place in the country (it`s not), due to a famous bossanova song that talks
about spending an afternoon there. Kind of like Hotel California. Do make sure to try the world`s best Acaraje: Cira`s. Ask anyone in Salvador and they know.
