Heck, you are bound to find a lot of the same international shops at the local malls (Levi’s, Armani, etc.) but some shops offer stuff at good prices you can’t find elsewhere: Brazilian pants for women (the ones that go up your butt), shoes and bags, beach gear.

Ladies: Hair cuts, facials, nails etc. are all so cheap in Brazil, that they are worth it whether it is raining or not.
You can go to one these place and get the works (hair, nails, waxing, facial, massage etc.) for under R$200.

The museums listed on page ?? may offer enough content to last a few hours without boring you to death.
Smoke a Cigar
Heck, it takes 3 hours to go through one. If you have never smoke but want to try, just calmly puff till the nicotine starts to sink in, usually within 15 minutes
